:: Patrick Walker ::

Patrick Walker is currently based in Edinburgh, where he runs AVXR a net audio imprint which publishes MP3s via Kompakt digital: Cologne as well as working on various multimedia and sound-design projects.

He records deep, dubby techno, minimal electronics and tripped out machine sounds as (i)sodyne, Kyoto Young Team, and Patrick Walker, as well as a number of other pseudonyms w/ various artists known and unknown.

Alongside label mate: Mak Factor (aka Lodestar) he also produces mechanical sounding ambient and hip hop infused electro as Vent, a hotly-tipped live act in their own right, Vent will be releasing on a brand new UK based label this year and will be following up a support slot with the Orb last year with an all new live show.

Having made an impression with his output on AVXR and numerous live appearances - Walker has since been snapped up to release on the reknown uk/de net label: Clever Music as well as spanish AV/netlabel Miga and previously mindtours' digital imprint md_net.

Live and DJ performances have taken him all round the uk, and soon further afield, with him sharing the bill with artists such Ricardo Villalobos, The Orb, The Wee djs, Slam, Ekkohaus, The Youngsters, Jerome Hill, Pounding Grooves, dj Misjah, Steve Glencross, Gurtz, Operator, Jonas Behring, Robert Armani, Grimes Adhesive, Clairfi / Chestnut Chambers, Steevio, Suade, Lief, Colin Favor, Desert Storm, Miss Fitz, a+e Dept and many more.

Clubs and parties he has performed at include: Eurobeat 2000, Dogma, Access, Pogo Vogue, Lift, Havoc (Manc), React, The Unit (glasgow), K_OS social, Jak-n, Purple Moon, Apex, Netaudio06 festival, Illgotronik and Soulfyre collective.

He has also remixed : Toob, Sugar Experiment Station, Wee djs, Smear and Linkwood Family (w Joe Malik) along with doing live
engineering for a number of Edinburgh based bands.
